INTERNATIONAL VIDEODANCE FESTIVAL OF CHILE 2009

FIVC 09 realised a panoramic one of the world-wide production of videodance through the work projection of national and international artists, like part of selections realised by different European and Latin American festivals of videodance, and of the special selection of Caida Libre under the curatorship of Brisa MP.

The festival developed different activities with national producers in conferences, realised workshops and the section “Open Screen”, videos of long play of Cine-dance and compilations in which they emphasize the DVD of the “Circuit of Videodance of the Mercosur” with works of Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay and the compiled of independent Videodance “VD Made in Chile” and others.

With the aim of occupying the public spaces the FIVC Santiago developed in the Mulato Gil de Castro Square , located in Lastarria street 307, under the sponsorship of the MAVI Museum of Visual Arts, since January 7 to10 .

FIVC Valparaiso was realised the 14 to 17 of January in the Extension Center of the Council of Culture located in Sotomayor Square 233.

The Festival of Videodance of Chile has character of “not competition”.
